Camp Food and Nutrition

Our food is something to write home about. Among our fulltime senior staff is a qualified nutritionist and special focus has been devoted to the quality and balance of the food and menu design. Our meals are fresh, wholesome, homemade and very delicious. Our chef is experienced, creative and prepares our food using locally grown, organic produce whenever available. A vegetarian option will be provided at every meal and we can accommodate special diets if we are notified in advance.

If your child has food allergies, or has special dietary requirements, please discuss it with us in advance.

Although we make every effort to accommodate allergies and special diets, the staff at Long Bay Camp feel that peanuts and nuts are a part of a healthy diet and have chosen to be a peanut/nut friendly camp. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
