A Typical Day
No camp is complete without fun and exciting camp activities to indulge in. Along with our fabulous arts programs, Long Bay offers campers a variety of traditional activities like:
Our counsellors organize many sporting events such as volleyball, soccer, badminton, ultimate Frisbee, world games and much more. Each night will lend itself to some interesting and captivating social time where campers will be entertained by talent shows from their peers and staff, guest musicians, artists, story tellers and exciting games, dances and songs. The fun never stops!
7:30 a.m. Wake up/Polar Bear Dip/Camp Gathering, announcements
8:15 Breakfast
9:00 Arts major class I, (Visual arts, dance, drama, music)
10:15 Break, talk with friends, snack
10:30 Arts major class II, (Visual arts, dance, drama, music)
11:30 Cabin Time
12:00 p.m. Lunch
12:30 Rest period
1:30 Electives, choose from a variety of arts and sports electives (digital photography, jewelry making, hip hop dance, creative writing, batik, improv, drumming, music jam, soccer, Ultimate Frisbee, and much more)
4:15 Afternoon recreation, swimming, beading, waterfront activities
6:00 Dinner
7:00 Evening programs, rehearsals
8:30 Social hour, Camp fires, musicians/singing, story telling, games, performances.
9:30-10:00 Bedtime
