Music at Long Bay Camp
Long Bay’s music camp inspires campers to learn new instruments and play music like they have never played before! Campers who have experienced a music workshop often continue a musical program throughout the school year. For many campers, our music camp program is a life changing experience.

Have you ever dreamed of being a performer or a song writer? Whether you have a lot, a little or no experience you can join in and tap into the performer that is inside all of us! Be part of our production! You will be amazed how great some of your favourite pop songs you’ve always dreamed of trying can sound. Learn how easy and fun it is to play, sing, harmonize and learn cool dance moves just like the professionals. See how easy it is to make up your own songs and how to set your new creation to music and melody. Everyone will get a chance to shine with their moment in the final production. It will be fun to rehearse and perform to music tracks from High School Musical, as well as Broadway musicals and other fun styles!

In this workshop campers will learn the basic skills of standard rock and roll instrumentation (guitar/bass/drums/vocals) and how to put it all together to create real rock and roll! Some experience is recommended but not necessary. Sessions will include individual instrument instruction, rock history, songwriting and arranging, and most importantly group ensemble sessions where the band will routinely rattle the rafters of the big beautifully revamped barn at Long Bay Camp.
