Instructor: Lisa Thomas
Dates Available: July 18 – July 24,2010 (Session 3)

Performers: Drama Program

This exciting week long journey allows campers to grow and achieve more freedom in their creative process by learning how to work ‘BIG’. Using materials found in nature, combined with wire, metal, paint and just about anything that you can think of, have fun while finding a way to express what is important to you. Some time will be allotted for drawing and other 2 dimensional work as part of the planning stages for the sculptures. Discover what can be found within and without to animate your creative force in ways that will change the way you see yourself and the world. In a relaxed atmosphere, with a small teacher/student ratio, children will have the opportunity to create without boundaries. Lisa Thomas is an instructor who allows children the freedom to explore their creative instincts while still developing their techniques and skills. The camp's beautiful country setting is particularly conducive to this kind of explorational art experience.
